The tents stand on two meter high platforms under thatched roofs beneath palm trees. All of them having a magnificent view with two overlooking the Rufiji river and two overlooking the bush and an animal waterhole.

The tents are very spacious, and a family of five would have lots of room. There are large windows with mosquito netting on three sides to let in the breeze and light. The toilet, as well as the shower and wash basin with hot and cold water, are at the back on the platform outside the canvas of the tent. The silence, except for the sound of birds and animals and the wind in the doum palms above, makes you aware that you are very much in the ‘real’ Africa!

A generator is run for about four hours in the evening, and thereafter an inverter and batteries enable you to use a bedside fan and charge your mobile phone, camera or laptop for a few more hours.
